Course Description

People are directly or indirectly involved in every accident and an understanding of the 'human involvement' can only add to the success of any established safety program. The purpose of this program is not to assign blame for accidents to individuals, but rather to expand on and to understand why accidents occur and to raise the level of awareness of all in the workplace.

Course Content

This program covers:  the heirarchy of control measures which is fundamental to addressing SAFETY at work:  elimination, substitution, engineering controls and administrative controls.

Assessment Tasks

An assessment task of 10 multiple choice questions and answers willl be discussed in class.

Certificate

Each candidate will receive a Certificate of Completion.
