Course Description

This program will explain what workplace violence is, who may be a potentially violent person, where violence can occur and a whole range of methods and approaches that can be used to control violence in the workplace.

Course Content

The program consists of: what is workplace violence; controlling workplace violence; policy development; what can be done to minimise the risk of violence throughout the layout of the workplace. Group discussions and activities also form part of the learning and awareness of the topic.

Assessment Tasks

An assessment task of 10 multiple choice questions and answers willl be discussed in class.

Certificate

Each candidate will receive a Certificate of Completion.
