Course Description
Being aware of basic safety essentials and understand how they relate to you and your work is fundamental to ensure your safety and that of your workmates. The increased knowledge gained from this course will play a major role in reducing the incidence of workpace accidents.
Course Content
This program discusses Safety Essentials: an understanding of how you can be hurt or become ill as a result of workplace activities; an understanding of what is expected of you from the organisation's perspective; correct manual handling techniques; knowing what to do in an emergency situation.
Assessment Tasks
An assessment task of 10 multiple choice questions and answers willl be discussed in class.
Certificate
Each candidate will receive a Certificate of Completion.
